One is a cute hot pink, black and white Eiffel tower design. I used complimentary polka dot fabrics to trim. The other is a ballerina print with large ballerinas and the complimenting tiny ballet shoe fabric.
She has worn some of this stuff and looks very cute. I can tell she thinks she looks "special" too.

Gosh, I love my kids. I love seeing these funny things that they do and get to be present for all of the experiments they run. Well, some of the experiments I could do without...

When I picked her up there was only her and one other little girl left. She had her backpack on and was sitting on her teachers lap. She looked at me and little tears welled up in her eyes. The teacher said she could see the look of urgency building on her face as each mom came to get her child and I wasn't there yet. I think she was so relieved that I finally got there that the tears just came. We had to sing our "my mommy comes back" song all the way home to reinforce the idea that I will never leave her. The teacher said that she was great the whole time and she didn't have an accident. She is doing really well with potty training. Our little princess is growing up!
SO, speaking of the little princess. She was a little naughty yesterday so I sent her to her room, after a while I heard a strange reaccuring noise that I couldn't catagorize! I had not heard this noise before so I just wasn't sure what it could be after listening for a few moments. Jaya was laughing hysterically in her room while the noise was happening too. NOW you must know by now that there are two noises that a mother worries about when she hears them but can't see her children....complete silence and hysterical laughter! I open the door to find the Pink Tornado completely disheveled but dressed in her princess "stuff". She had her princess flashlight and was sitting in the rocking chair in her room. Sounds innocent enough right?? Wrong, our bulldog, Bubbles, goes crazy for flashlights. She will chase a light around the house, on the furniture and also....up the walls. So, Jaya was sitting in the chair in her room where I sent her but flashing her light on the wall so that Bubbles was basically banging her head against it trying to bite the light. See, hysterical laughing can sometimes be deceiving. I went and got the camera before I told her it wasn't nice because it was a pretty funny site.
The Pink Tornado blew through again!
By the way, those of you that get email notices of new posts and read them without going to the site directly, miss the theme music that I add to each blog. It is a fun way to help add a something to the "atmosphere" and that is where you can leave your own personal comment to the page.

This is his "mean motorcycle face". Not sure where he formed this thought of what a mean motorcycle rider is but this is it! I made two shirts and one pair of jeans. While I was making them, I had the iron out. I told Jaxx not to get near the iron and he said "Is it hotter than a spicy dinner?". Funny kid just like his dad! Here are some more detailed pics.
Here is the back of the jeans. This was so fun to make and I was excited when they were finished and looked exactly as I had sketch! When I finished sewing and told Jaxx. He wanted to immediately put them on and said "Dad will freeeak out when he sees these!". Ahhhh, to be five!
